Goodsports was the team kit and merchandise licensed manufacturer, based in Adelaide Australia at the time.

At no stage did they make a bomber style team jacket, new ever would Rothamns allow a garment to be manufactured where Roth was on one section separate by a zipper and buttons showing Mans. They are all fakes.

The jacket would have fully embroidered branding for Renault, Goodyear, Rothmans Racing, Elf, in later seasons Castrol was added on, and some wooden jumpers were made with Labbatts on them for the Canadian F1.

Soft non water-resistant material was also used in the fake product.

Team garments were made to be water resistant as best as they could be in adverse weather especially when testing gin the UK those years ago.
